Although the scope of this area of the packaging landscape is quite broad, TPS has been effectively innovating across it for more than 20 years. Our years of design experience in this area span a diverse spectrum, from consumer products to hardware & tools to heavy durable goods and medical products. The breadth of knowledge we’ve gained doing this guides our abilities to work directly with your marketing
We engage in critically rigorous engineering practices to guide the sound, structural design of our customers’ packages that must function to protect large and heavy items during shipping. An integral part of this process includes creating working prototypes that can be tested to ensure the prevention of shipping vibration-induced damage. AND—we’re also keenly focused on creating positive customer experiences.
TPS is committed to sustainability in packaging materials and processes and we endeavor to make responsible decisions in our structural design work. Whether we employ molded-pulp, plant-based plastics, source reduction or a host of other strategies, we will show our customers the latest technology backed by realistic design & manufacturing solutions.
Our creative division at TPS will work with your marketing team and create a variety of graphic and branding solutions for any product application. We can begin the process with basic information and copy or specific details as to the target market and translate this into effective and exciting graphic package design. TPS is also quite adept at updating and implementing your existing graphics and we will work with our customers to perfect your products’ brand and message.
Whether the design specs call for exciting and functional retail packaging for medical devices, or for strict compliance with the federal regulations that mandate how pharmaceuticals must be packaged, TPS has accrued many years of experience working to meet the particular packaging needs of medical companies to help ensure their success.
This often-overlooked area of package design is always a factor in the TPS design process. We look at the standards guides for all major retailers and create shippers with the proper inserts for the long haul in the supply chain and follow this up with the most efficient master carton design. We will sample all of these packages and provide testing where needed for our customers.
This relatively new category in packaging is already a specialty for TPS as we have innovated many package designs for this rapidly growing category. Imagine a package that is simple kraft corrugated with 1-color printing on the outside that opens to a grand 4-6 color display on the inside to showcase your new product to the consumer that has just received their Amazon order.
Because we facilitate superior graphic and structural design capabilities under one roof, TPS can produce digital files that illustrate in-store shelf displays with great accuracy and detail. These capabilities also enable us to create displays of pallets that depict full graphics systems, as well as 3D Models that visually describe an enormous variety of packaging. This 3D modeling capability also allows us to portray all of a given package’s array of graphic imagery in concert with the display of whatever product it contains. Additionally, TPS can also design detailed animations that visually convey what a given package or packaging system would look like if it was manufactured and distributed.
Although the scope of this area of the packaging landscape is quite broad, TPS has been effectively innovating across it for more than 20 years. Our years of design experience in this area span a diverse spectrum, from popcorn to cough medicine to child safety products. The breadth of knowledge we’ve gained doing this guides our abilities to work directly with your marketing and branding teams to 1) effectively realize crucial aspects of shelf or rack presentation, and to 2) graphically and structurally promote specific novel features of the product. Additionally, we have the ability to create samples that make use of virtually all packaging materials and manufacturing processes currently available, which helps ensure that what we work with you to design and produce will realize its maximum sales potential.
Do you need or require comps and prototypes that look and feel exactly like production packaging? If the answer to this question is YES, then know that TPS can design and build these for you. We have the capability necessary to create one-off samples, or to operate short production runs that provide the prototypes—as white or full color printed samples—necessary to Facilitate consumer testing. TPS has amassed more than 20 years of experience producing “perfect comps” of virtually all types of package design.
